Hey everybody-

Today is the last day of the primary campaign, and we have plenty of work to do.  We're finishing our lit drop and getting out to talk to voters.  We need your help.

Word of mouth is a powerful tool, and I want everybody who is supporting the campaign to take some time tonight and call through your family and friends who live in Racine, to make sure that they'll support us with their vote.

If any person you talk to has questions about the campaign or certain issues that you don't feel comfortable answering, please refer them to the website or just have them call the campaign to talk to me or one of our volunteers.

We've got a lot going on over the next 4 days that requires a bunch of volunteer support.  Come join us as we push to get our message out!  We really need to finish our city-wide lit drop, and we still have about half to go.

For every volunteer event, we list a specific time and location, but we can work around your availability.  Just call our campaign office at 752-8106, and we can assign you a task.  Here's what's going on this weekend.  Please come if you can, and bring a friend.

Lit Drop
Saturday & Sunday, Noon, Campaign Office at 521 6th Street
Pick up a bundle of lit, a map, some coffee and kringle, and go spread the news about Pete Karas.  Bring a friend.

You may have noticed that your commute to work has gotten a lot more colorful over the past couple of weeks as candidates are posting their names in every willing streetfront location.  Well, we're no different.  We have been extremely pleased to put up more than 400 yard signs and window signs so far, and we want to get them all out before the primary.  So, if you want a sign, get on over to the "Contact" form on this very site and make sure to put down the address, and we'll get somebody over to put it up within a day.

Meet Pete Karas - Candidate for Mayor of Racine

Pete Karas

Racine has been my home for 50 years, and it has been a true privilege to raise my family and build a career here. I have always believed that the strength of Racine is the people of Racine. Together, even in these times of economic uncertainty, we can move our city forward and create better neighborhoods and workplaces.

This is a time for solutions built on new ideas, and for leadership based on solid principles of integrity and innovation. That is why I am running for Mayor.

Please feel free to explore the website. You can find information about the issues, make a donation, volunteer your time, and more.

I hope I can count on your support and your vote. Together we can make a better Racine.

Sincerely,

Pete Karas
